Happy Birthday To ME! :)

Boy, what an exciting month! Last week, we celebrated a years worth of Gluten Free Fridays link ups and today we are celebrating my birthday!  Yay!  I won’t tell you how old I am?!?!!

Its been a busy week around here, we have been working hard on the blog and also with our Allergy Alert Dog Fundraising!  We got some coverage on ABC and NBC this week.  Certainly hoping to raise more awareness for food allergies and the tools available to parents. We sold lemonade for a donation and our fundraising shirts at a local farmers market!  We also had a fundraiser at a local winery, which had gluten free crackers to go along with their awesome cheese plate! We also sold one of our fundraising afghans and got a new afghan up for sale!  Here are a few pictures from my past week!

To help us celebrate my birthday this week, our good friends at PASCHA chocolate is giving away some yummy treats!     This Friday I’m sharing a sweet dessert: Apricot Ginger Sorbet (there’s also Pluot Lemon, too). I used honey in place of white sugar, and added ginger for fun spiciness.

    I was able to link-up this week (thanks for hosting!), but I didn’t have a picture of my recipe so you get to see a picture of me instead!
