You know the GO Veggie! brand, right? The one that makes dairy free  and lactose free cheese products!  Yes! That’s the one! Today, I am going to dish about the dairy free products! We have a dairy allergy in our house so I wanted to try those out!   I was very excited that GO Veggie! reached out to us to sample their products and even sent this cute gift pack, which I have pictured below!  Thank you to GO Veggie! for the samples! The opinions in this post are our own!

Disclaimer – We’ve used the GO Veggie! Grated Topping” and “shreds” before and have really liked them!  They were not new to us! :)

Go Veggie Review Vegetarianmamma.com

The Grated Topping is a perfect alternative to a dairy parm cheese.  We have used it on pizza, salads, casseroles and more!  One of my favorite recipes to use it on is broiled tomato sandwiches.  This is a perfect example of how you can take a simple recipe that has dairy cheese and use this great dairy free sub without losing any of the great taste! As you can see from the picture on the link, we used to make them with dairy cheese, but now we use GO Veggie! grated topping so that its safe for all of our family!  No upset bellies here!  The grated topping does contain SOY but is free from other common allergens.

We enjoy the shreds on many of our dishes as well!  The shreds are available in Mexician or Mozzerella.  We have only been about to find the Moz at our local Whole Foods and Kroger.  I can’t wait to try the Mexican some day!  The shreds are dairy, soy and gluten free!  One thing that I noticed about the shreds is they really melt.  If you are looking to add to pizza or a grilled cheese, these guys really melt!  There is just something to be said about gooey cheese! YUM!

The slices are new to us, they are free of the top 8 allergens.  That is pretty awesome! The slices are available in American, Cheddar, Moz and Pepper Jack!  My youngest, who has the dairy allergy, liked eating the slices plain.  I didn’t care for them plain.  I enjoyed my slices  tore up on top of my salad or in a sandwich.  We were happy with them.

GO Veggie! also makes cream cheese and cheese blocks.  I was not able to find them in my store but I am excited to try them in the future!

I am very excited to share an opportunity to try these products…with YOU!  GO Veggie! has been so kind to offer a giveaway!  One lucky US winner will get a lunch tote, pen and 3 coupons for FREE products!  Entering is easy using the rafflecopter below!

  39. I’m new to the GF/DF/Grain Free scene, a little over 30 days to be exact, but I was a little alarmed when I saw that the American Cheese slices contained Casein and the Mozzarella contains Casein. I was under the impression that if you were on a Vegan Diet there were certain things you could not eat. I really want to try this but I need a little help understanding if you please :)

That’s a great question. If you are looking at Go Veggie, they have two different kinds of cheese. They have a dairy free cheese and they have a lactose free cheese. Be sure you are checking out the correct one. Sorry about the delay in my response, your comment went to spam 😉

      • Thanks so much for the response! Yeah I guess it went to spam because my e-mail insists on adding the letter j after .com. It is so annoying, I finally had to clear my cookies and form data to get it to stop.

        I appreciate your response!
