Meow from Cabi The Tabby, she is our newest animal cowoker! She joined our family in late December 2016.
We had been feeling in our hearts that it was time to add another kitty to the household. We lost one of our cats to kidney disease in November 2015. It took us nearly a year to grieve for our sweet Bella.
But we knew that our current cat Chianti, needed a friend.
So the search was on for the perfect addition! It took us a little while and we met a few cats. I actually took the kids in to meet another kitten and Cabi caught their eye! Sometimes it is fate!
The kids instantly fell in love and I knew that she’d be a good fit. It can be hard “meeting” a kitten in an adoption type of situation. Cabi was in a viewing area with her siblings, but when we met her we were in a room that was much bigger than the area she was in. She was interested in us but also interested in exploring.
Lucky for us, they had some toys in the “meeting area” and she loved to play!
Once home and settled, Cabi The Tabby showed us her loving side. She loves to sit in your lap, on your shoulder and chest. She wants to be near you.
We miss the constant purrs of our sweet Bella. Chianti doesn’t purr often. Cabi, however, has a loud motor! This baby girl LOVES to purr and talk! Just like Bella, you say her name or look at her and she starts to purr!
The love that this sweet girl has is amazing! We can’t wait to share our adventures with you!
We started a new INSTAGRAM channel called oh.my.paws where we are showing all of our animal coworkers!
Follow us please!
We also have some amazing animal brands lined up to showcase this year! We are hoping to provide some giveaways to our animal loving friends! We will be featuring items for cats and dogs!
Stay tuned! Our animals make us so happy and we want to share that happiness with you! Sometimes in a world that is so crazy, busy and often overwhelming the simple snuggle of a four-legged friend can make the world a gentle, calm and happy place!
Let’s talk! Do you have any animals? Leave me a comment telling me what you have!
