In reply to <a href="https://vegetarianmamma.com/air-fryer-baked-potatoes/#comment-98872">January Welch</a>.

Hello January :) What type of air fryer do you have? Each one runs a bit differently, its really trial and error when you start. Also, the size (length and thickness) of your potato will vary with the timing. One big tip is that it is okay and needed top open the air fryer and check food when it is cooking. When you are new to your air fryer and learning, open it more frequently to check the doneness of the food. Then if the food cooks quicker, stop the cooking. If the food isn't done, you can add more time. It is more interactive, than say an instant pot. The instant pot is a set it and forget it. But with the air fryer, it needs more interaction and checking. :). We have found that Ninja's and Cuisinart Air Fryer Tend to run hot, so if you have one of those you may need to reduce the time. If you have an air fryer oven style, you may have to add time. Let me know what kind you have and I"ll help you trouble shoot!

I used the baked potato recipe to make my first baked potato in my new air fryer. It was perfect! I love how the potato skin is crispier than a microwave potato. I could actually taste the potato skin this time. And the oil and salt made it taste like a restaurant baked potato. Great recipe!

These loaded and stuffed air fryer baked potatoes are great for a main dish meal. Pair it with a side salad. These potatoes can also be used as a side dish! They are so easy to make thanks to theВ air fryer . I like to cook the potatoes for 40 minutes at В 390 degrees. Oven baked potatoes usually take about 50-60 minutes. I feel like I am constantly checking in on them and piercing them with a knife or fork to check if they are soft on the inside.

Thanks Jeanie for letting me know, it certainly depends on the size of the potato. For bigger potatoes 60 minutes works great! Thanks for trying our air fryer baked potato!
