When it comes to delicious breakfast on the weekends, I have got that down! But when it comes to busy week day mornings, I struggle. I have recently rediscovered oatmeal. My favorite oatmeal recipe for busy mornings is this Banana Blueberry Oatmeal.

I have basic simple ingredients for this recipe and one STAR ingredient. I’ve recently found Sir Bananas™. This milk is bananas! No, seriously it is! It is a milk that is made with real bananas.
I found Sir Bananas™ in the dairy aisle at Walmart. This milk is not only creamy, but a great source of protein, calcium and potassium. It also has NO artificial colors of flavors! Win, Win!

In a sauce pan over medium heat, combine the Sir Bananas™ milk, gluten-free old fashioned oats, salt and sugar.
Bring to a boil and cook for 3-5 minutes or until you find your desired consistency.
Divide mixture into 4 bowls. Top with freshly cut banana slices and fresh blueberries.
You can stir in the blueberries ahead of time, but my kids like to do that on their own. They love mixing the blueberries in and adding color to their oatmeal!

Didn’t I tell you that was easy? We like our oatmeal a touch on the sweeter side so we add in some sugar, but it is not necessary for the recipe. You can omit.
