Chocolate Chip Protein Bites are the perfect back to school snacking idea! Serve as an after-school snack or in your child’s lunch for a punch of protein!
Gluten-Free Lunch Box Idea
Can you believe that it is Back-To-School season? I can’t either! With that, we are working hard to come up with some creative ideas for our gluten-free lunch boxes.
I don’t know about your kids, but my kids need new and exciting things to keep them interested in their lunch boxes and after-school snacks.
Gluten-Free and Allergy-Friendly Snacks
Not only are these Chocolate Chip Protein Bites gluten-free but they are allergy-friendly. They are also packed with some protein.
I have used these for lunches and snacks but they would be great for an on-the-go breakfast as well. 🙂
The BEST part of these Chocolate Chip Protein Bites is the chocolate chips, so says my children. 🙂 And well…I would agree!
For the chocolate chips, I used Pascha Organic Dark Chocolate Chips! You know the ones, they are a favorite about this house!
We’ve posted about Pascha before. You might remember our 4 ingredient dairy-free granola bars, dairy-free cafe mocha and our lemon cranberry cookies. If you are a chocolate chip lover, you might want to also check out these Paleo chocolate chip cookies.
Allergy-Friendly Chocolate Chips
Pascha products are free from so many common allergens.
Don’t expect to find these ingredients on the label:
- tree nuts
- legumes (including peas)
Because their products are free from so many allergens, there are so many people that can enjoy them! I have enjoyed each and every product from Pascha and so does my family.
How to Make Chocolate Chips Protein Bites
For this Chocolate Chip Protein Bites recipe, I used the 85% Cacao chips from Pascha. Typically, I eat these straight from the bag!
These chips are MY fav! My kids, however, love the 55% BUT mixed in with all these other goodies! They are quite happy with 85%!
Protein Bite Ingredients
These are the super simple ingredients:
- Gluten-free oats
- Vegan protein powder
- Dried cranberries
- Vegan chocolate chips
- Pumpkin seeds
You get the idea! The recipe is so easy the kids can actually help you make it!
I bet you are getting hungry! I like to store these little chocolate chip protein bites in the fridge.
The temp helps to keep them together and the chill enhances the taste! I think you’ll agree!
