Detox the Air with the Dyson Pure Cool ™ Link Purifier Fan – check out our experience with this purifier.
I think it’s safe to say that as we’re working on detoxing our homes, the most important thing inside of those homes to clean is the actual AIR that we breathe. The air is circulating around us all day and night, and filtering through our lungs – if we are interested in detoxing, this stuff needs to be pristine!
In order to create clean air in your home, there are many ways to avoid creating toxins in our home to begin with. These include using organic cleaning products, avoiding toxins in our furniture, bedding, and other housewares, and vacuuming with a good HEPA filter. Aside from that, I think that the best thing that you can do to improve the air quality in your home is to invest in a high quality air purifier.
One such high quality air purifier is the Dyson Pure Cool™ Link purifier fan. This purifier comes in two different models – a floor model and a slightly smaller, desktop model. I have the floor model and I absolutely love it.
In true Dyson fashion, this machine is miles ahead of its competitors in terms of technology. As a company, Dyson invests one-third of its profits into research and development for future technologies. This is billions of dollars spent to make sure that their machines, including vacuums, fans, purifiers, and products they haven’t even released yet are the best out there.
The Dyson Pure Cool™ Link purifier fan automatically removes 99.97% of allergens and pollutants as small as 0.3 microns. These are microscopic particles in our indoor air that cause allergies, asthma, and other health problems. Dyson Pure Cool™ removes them using patented technology and system of sophisticated HEPA and carbon filters to keep the air in your home clean. These filters trap pollen, mold, dust, and other allergens such as pet dander. This is fantastic, but I think that the best part of this product is the “Link” part. The purifier links with my iPhone via a simple app that allows me to control the fan and also see real time data about the air quality inside and outside of my home.
Dyson has contracted with BreezoMeter, which is a data analytics company that provides air quality data in real time. At any time you can look at your BreezoMeter data on your phone and see how toxic the air is in your neighborhood. It’s a great indicator to know if you should have your windows open or not, and the purifier uses that data to decide how hard it should work that day too.
Not only does Dyson know the quality of your outside air, it can also detect the quality of the air inside your home. I can see my fan working harder during times that I’m producing air pollution, such as making popcorn (it really hates it when I do that), cooking with oil, or when I have the windows open.
In the end, the The Dyson Pure Cool™ Link purifier fan takes in all of those nasty particles, and blows out clean, fresh, cool air and will cool you down just like a traditional fan. But unlike a traditional fan, you can breathe easy knowing that this fan is turbocharged with technology to purify your air to the best quality possible.
