Easy Roasted Strawberry Shake is the perfect summer frozen dessert. This single serve shake is easy to make and will have you asking for seconds!
When I was younger my mom and I would frequent a “chain” ice cream establishment. I would love to get strawberry sundaes and shakes.
There was just something delicious about their strawberry sauce. Times have changed and I can’t consume ice cream at places like that.
So why not create goodies at home that you CAN enjoy? That’s what we did!
SIMPLE is the key word here. Sometimes there is not a need to get all crazy and wild in the kitchen. Keep it simple.
Two basic ingredients…that is all.
We used the Vanilla Bean Coconut Milk from So Delicious as our Dairy-free frozen dessert base! It is creamy and delicious!
What more do you need, right?
We actually consume a lot of this frozen dessert in our house! Maybe I shouldn’t admit that!? Ha!

To create our strawberry sauce for the Roasted Strawberry Shake we started with 1 cup of sliced strawberries and topped them with some sugar!
We popped the strawberries into the oven at 450 degrees F for 10 minutes. This softened the berries and brought out and amazing flavor!
Then we blended the strawberries until they were smooth! We added into 4 ice cream scoops of our frozen dessert and blended again.
The strawberry sauce tasted very similar to my childhood memories but BETTER! I think you will agree after just one sip!
So many times recipes make huge amounts. Not this one!
We are all about the single serving here! This recipe makes ONE serving of the Roasted Strawberry Shake.
I can’t say that you won’t want more though, I actually bet you will! No judging…make as much as you want!
- 1 c sliced strawberries
- 2 T sugar
- 4 scoops frozen dessert by So Delicious (Vanilla Bean)
- additional strawberries to garnish
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees F.
- On a rimmed baking sheet, lay out strawberries and top with 2 T sugar.
- Roast for 10 minutes.
- Remove strawberries from oven and blend in a blender until smooth.
- Add in 3 scoops of Vanilla Bean frozen dessert and blend again.
- Once smooth, pour into a glass, garnish with a strawberry.
