Cooking on the grill is a sign of summer for many. Asparagus is a perfect vegetable to grill. Grilled Asparagus paired with fresh dill makes the perfect side dish.
We have been able to sneak in a few more nights of grilling as the weather turns to cool nights. We just love grilling out vegetables and dread giving that up as winter starts to set in.
Grilled Asparagus is very easy to make and tastes wonderful. We season this dish with fresh dill. You can use parm (dairy or non dairy) or omit all together. Whatever your sweet little heart desires!

- 1 lb asparagus trimmed
- 2 T fresh dill chopped
- 1/2 t garlic salt
- spray oil
- parm optional
Gently spray a piece of foil with oil.
Place asparagus on foil.
Evenly spread fresh dill and garlic salt.
Place foil on top shelf of grill over medium heat.
Cook until tender (for me it was about 8 minutes)
Top with parm, if you'd like.
No need to fold the foil into a packet, just leave it open as a grilling surface.
