This is a GREAT side dish. I mean who doesn’t like a little extra wine with their meal, right? You can adapt this recipe and use your favorite wine!
Mushrooms in Wine
- 1 lb button mushrooms
- 1 c butter yes a lot, but you can cut back
- 1/2 vegetarian Worcestershire sauce gluten free
- 1 cup red wine
- 2 t garlic powder
Clean your mushrooms! Set aside
Cut butter into small chunks, combine in pan with all remaining ingredients.(except mushrooms)
Bring to boil, reduce the heat and stir until butter has melted and everything has blended.
Add mushrooms and simmer (on low) for 30 minute son low. Serve mushrooms without sauce.
