Springwood Cabins is set of pet-friendly cabins filled with rustic charm. The cabins are located in the heart of Hocking Hills. There is nothing better than relaxing with your pet on vacation!
Spring Wood Cabins in Hocking Hills, OH is set in a beautiful, wooded, 52 acre piece of nature. They offer 6 (soon to be 7) different well-appointed cabins for the ultimate comfortable “glamping” experience.
Here you can enjoy all the benefits of camping in the great outdoors, but without the sore back from sleeping on the ground! I am all about the “cabin life.”
I LOVE the rustic charm that filled our cabin! THIS is my kind of place!
I have to say that one of my favorite things about our stay was the two personalized cards that the owners left for us. One greeted us on the door and the other on the table.
It greeted us by name and even named Gia! Love that personalization!
We were thrilled to stay in the Butterfly Trail Cabin. Each of the six cabins is slightly different, and this one fit our needs perfectly. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, there was enough space for my whole family – including my dog Gia – who absolutely loved it here.
Pets are welcome at Spring Wood Cabins which is a huge bonus in my book. I hate to have to leave them behind when we go on adventures! Gia enjoyed checking out all of the nooks and crannies in this modern log cabin as much as she enjoyed sniffing around the woods!
Our cabin was packed with modern amenities that you might not expect in a cabin in the woods. There was free wi-fi, a full kitchen with all needed appliances to cook your own meals (even a Keurig!), and satellite TV with premium channels.
It has everything!
Having a kitchen in our accommodations is always a must for me. I need to be able to bring and cook my own food to meet my family member’s dietary needs.
That’s not always possible while camping. There are some great gluten free restaurants in Hocking Hills, but for this trip we did most of the cooking ourselves.
The cabin has heat and air conditioning as well as a wood burning fireplace- So warm and cozy! There are also plush linens, comfy beds, and a large and relaxing outdoor hot tub.
The design and decor of the log cabin includes historical pieces like the kitchen island that was made from a local post office counter. Butterfly Trail Cabin has gorgeous stained glass windows and a spectacular amount of natural light during the day.
Don’t forget to check out the other cabins at Spring Wood. Each has unique features that make them perfect for whatever type of trip you’re looking to have.
One of their newer cabins, “The Rose” is an open concept, octagon shaped cabin for two. Perfect for a romantic weekend getaway! They have a brand new cabin which should be opening in the early summer of 2018. I can’t wait to share more info on that cabin, once its open!
None of the comforts of home are missing here. If not for the gorgeous outdoors to explore, I could have been happy to spend our whole trip inside the cabin. Thank you to Springwood Cabins for hosting us and pampering our girl Gia.
This was a great trip and so relaxing! We can’t wait to return!
