With apple season among us, we have the best apples to pick from when creating apple dishes. This sweet cinnamon apples dish will be a delight to your tastebuds.

Our family loves to head to the apple orchard and pick apples.

Truth be told, apples are our favorite fruit. Apples that are not bruised or damaged and kept at a cool temperature will hold up well for a long time.

We store our apples in the fridge to help keep their temperature constant. This sweet cinnamon apples dish is a favorite sweet treat for my family.

Sweet Cinnamon Apples

I used golden delicious apples for this dish; most apple types will work just fine.
Course: Dessert

Ingredients

  • 6 apples cored and diced
  • 1/4 c brown sugar
  • 1/4 c white sugar
  • 1/4 t ground cloves
  • 1/4 t pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 t ground cinnamon
  • 1/3 c water

Instructions

  • Place all ingredients in a skillet over medium heat.
  • Stir and heat for about 15 minutes or until most of the syrup is absorbed.
  • ENJOY!
