Palomino Sauce is the most deliciously creamy, pink sauce for your pasta. It's simple to make this upgraded marinara sauce with just a few ingredients.
Heat oil in a large saucepan and fry the onion on a medium setting until softened – about 5 minutes. Then add the garlic and fry for another minute.
Add the marinara sauce, sugar, cream and vegetable stock and stir well. Bring to a boil then simmer for 15 minutes. Then remove from the heat and stir through the parmesan cheese.
Serve over your favorite pasta or gnocchi with a little extra parmesan and some fresh parsley on top (optional).
Notes
The sauce should keep well in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. It can also be frozen for up to 3 months.
