Instructions
Toss all ingredients into a bowl, except the lemon juice. Stir gently to mix ingredients.
Pour the lemon juice on top of the salad mixture, stir to combine.

Why do you soak your red onions?I love the taste and flavor of red onions in my food. When I bite into a raw red onion, sometimes the taste is overpowering and the aftertaste is not pleasant. I soak my diced/cut red onions in water for 5-10 minutes if I am going to use them raw in a recipe. This helps to take the bite out of the flavor! Drain water from the onions after your 5-10 minutes has passed.
