You are so welcome. The frozen ones tend to have a bit more moisture which can make them get a little softer. Thanks for letting me know what you experimented with and how you tweaked the recipe. I always love to hear, whether it worked or not! 🙂 I found this recipe for crispy green beans, It is interested as it uses "beer" But I think its really the fizz that helps give the coating. So you could use club soda. I"ll have to experiment with that one too for a new recipe.
