Glad to hear you are trying something newish. 🙂 It has been a minute since I have been in a Kroger store. In the produce section, there may be some loose vegetables near the peppers or cucumbers. That is where I find it in my local grocery store. Let me know how it goes.

]]> By: Merrill Moores https://vegetarianmamma.com/potato-leek-soup-glutenfree-vegan/#comment-101493 Wed, 25 Feb 2026 01:00:07 +0000 http://vegetarianmamma.com/?p=2826#comment-101493 haven't tried this....i had never even heard let alone had leeks until i visited an irish restaurant in New Orleans.  The chef's claim to fame was he had beaten Bobby Flay.  So i ordered this soup.  It was non creamy...and truly amazing.  Actually met the chef, who took us (the wife and 3 kids...young) back in the kitchen and entertained the kids for quite a while (slow night😊)  But i have never had it again.  Kids are grown, got some time...gonna give this a shot.  I can see you are 13 years older than the last time anyone posted under this soup.  I'll let you know.  I don't even know where to get a leek...i have never seen one at Kroger.
