I do not think it will be overpowering if you marinate. I would double or triple the sauce, its my FAV! :) If you try marinating it, let me know how it goes!]]></description>

Hi Rebecca, thanks for coming back and letting us know and thanks for the rating.  For the sauce, you can thin it out by adding more oil to it. Different types and temps of the nut/seed butters can play into that smooth and thin look.  I would try to add a touch more oil next time.  Give it a try with a 1 t extra, whisk it and see if that helps. Then I would add more based upon how thin you want it.  Once you get it perfected the sauce is delish to use on vegetables as well!]]></description>
