Press the tofu with EZ Tofu Press for 12 to 15 minutes. Put extra firm tofu between plates, and tighten the knobs until there's resistance. Keep tightening the knobs every 3 to 4 minutes.
Cut the tofu into bite-sized pieces.
Warm oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sauté tofu cubes, and mash them with a fork to make crumbled tofu.
While the tofu cooks, whisk together all taco seasoning ingredients. It will form a thick paste.
After about 10 minutes when the tofu cubes begin to turn golden brown, add taco seasonings to the pan. Stir to combine.
Serve with lettuce, tomato, salsa, and vegan sour cream in hard taco shells. Enjoy!
