Roasted air fryer spaghetti squash takes less than 20 minutes to cook perfectly! Enjoy it plain, or toss it with your favorite pasta sauces for a low-carb, gluten free meal.
Cut the squash in half lengthwise and remove the seeds.
Brush the squash halves with oil, and add garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Place the squash halves in the deep fryer basket, cut side up, and cook at 370° F/190° C for about 18 minutes, or until tender all the way through. When the spaghetti squash has cooled, shred the flesh with a fork and enjoy.
Notes
The seasonings in this recipe are basic, and this means that your finished squash will work perfectly with your favorite pasta sauces. Feel free to add other seasonings if you like though.
When shopping for a spaghetti squash, look for one that is uniform in color, without spots or bruises, and has a hard, green stalk.
If needed, trim the squash to fit in your air fryer basket. To air fry more than one spaghetti squash, cook them in batches, making sure that you don't layer the squash pieces on top of each other.
Cooked spaghetti squash can be kept in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days, or frozen for up to 3 months.
