Notes
This cocktail is similar to a Long Island Iced Tea– it uses a lot of alcohol! We’re using blue curacao (for color), gin, vodka, tequila, and rum. I recommend going with classic, unflavored alcohols in this cocktail– a london dry gin, an unflavored or citrus vodka, a blanco tequila, and an unflavored white rum.
Lemon juice adds a bit of acidity and freshness to the cocktail. If you don’t want to use lemon juice and simple syrup, swap them for 1 ½ ounces sour mix.
Simple syrup adds just a hint of sweetness to balance out the lemon juice.
Lemon-lime soda adds sweetness and effervescence to the cocktail. Feel free to swap it for sparkling water if you’d like to cut out some of the extra sugar.
