Instructions
First peel the green apple, turmeric and the ginger. Then place the peeled turmeric, peeled ginger, lemon juice, green apple and water in a blender.
Blend until smooth.
Divide into shot glasses or jars, or store in the fridge to enjoy later.
Notes
A 40-gram (1.4-ounce) piece of gingerroot will be about 3 inches long. The same goes for turmeric.
Use fresh ginger and turmeric for this recipe!
This recipe works best in a high-speed blender like a Vitamix or Ninja Processing blender. You can also send all of the fruits through your juicer.
If you want a smoother shot, strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the pulp before serving.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days.
