  • Instant Pot
  • Mesh strainer

  • 2 cups jasmine rice
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • Rinse rice to remove any dirt. Inspect to make sure there aren't any pieces that need to be removed.
  • Add rice to Instant Pot with water, oil, and salt.
  • Set the Instant Pot to High Pressure for 4 minutes. Be sure to seal the valve and lock the lid.
  • Once the timer goes off, let the pot naturally release for 12 minutes before quick releasing the remaining pressure. Fluff with a fork and enjoy!

  • If you prefer your rice less sticky, let Instant Pot naturally release for 10 minutes before quick release.
