ground cinnamon

stick (½ cup)

caramel sauce
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175°C). Bake gluten-free bread cubes for 12 minutes. Place your bread cubes into an oiled 9x13 inch baking dish.
Dice apples but keep peels on. Be sure to deseed. Mix apples with bread cubes in the pan.
In a medium bowl, whisk together 8 eggs, pumpkin pie spice, and milk. Whisk until smooth and pour over bread crumbs and apple mixture.
With a fork combine flour, sugar, cinnamon and butter to create a crumble style topping. Then spread the topping over the casserole.
Bake the casserole for 55 minutes.
Remove from oven. Serve warm, topped with caramel sauce.
Notes
Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. This dish reheats nicely.
Any kind of apples can be used in this recipe.
