London Mule is an easy and fun variation of the classic Moscow mule drink. Gin combined with lime and ginger beer makes the most delicious and zesty ice-cold cocktail.

Notes
Choose the Best Gin. There are so many different types of gin on the market now, each with its own flavor profile. A London Mule is best with a botanical gin, as opposed to a floral or smoky gin. Bombay Sapphire or The Botanist are two that I love in this recipe.
Use freshly squeezed lime juice, rather than bottled lime. The flavor from fresh lime juice cannot be beat!
Look for ginger beer at the grocery store near the other cocktail mixers. This "beer" is non-alcoholic, but has a zippy, effervescent flavor that's much more pronounced than ginger ale. Note that not all ginger beer is gluten-free, so be sure to check the labels.
Mules are traditionally served in a chilled copper mug, but this drink works in a regular glass too if you don't have them.
