Can I substitute something instead of the heavy cream or can I make heavy cream from scratch

Thank you for reaching out. I do not see which recipe you are referring about heavy cream. As with all the recipes, you can modify or substitute. Usually, a recipe with heavy cream may make the sauce thicker. If you want to make the heavy cream from scratch, please do.
