These Air Fryer Jalapeño Poppers are insanely delicious. They are a spicy and mouth-watering snack! Oven instructions provided too!
WHAT MAKES THESE AIR FRYER JALAPENO POPPERS SO GOOD?
- These air fryer jalapeno poppers are insanely delicious with only a few ingredients! We are talking simple ingredients: jalapenos, cream cheese, fresh parsley and breadcrumbs.
- You can prep these air fried jalapeno poppers ahead of time. Stuff peppers, top with breading and keep in fridge until you are ready to cook later. This is helpful if you are feeding a crowd.
- Great for most eating restrictions. You can easily make these vegan jalapeno poppers and also make them gluten-free by using gf breadcrumbs!
- These air fryer poppers are light! Just a little bit of oil added to the tops, helps to crisp up the bread crumbs and add flavor, but doesn't weight down the poppers with heavy grease!
TIPS FOR MAKING AIR FRYER JALAPENO POPPERS
- Can be frozen. We have frozen these air fryer jalapeno poppers several times. Depending on how much moisture the pepper has, it might get a little soggy when reheating, but it still tastes amazing!
- After picking out your peppers, cut off the tops, and don't forget that you need to de-seed them! Important step! And another little tip...Wear gloves when doing this step. SO many times I've cut open that jalapeno pepper, then forget and wiped my eyes later....the pain! It seriously will burn for hours.
- Don't have bread crumbs? You can finely grind tortilla chips in your food processor to create a delicious naturally gluten-free topping! Or you can crush them by hand

I'm not a big fried food person, but I do love Jalapeno Poppers. I like the idea of making them in an air fryer so you still get the crispiness without the greasiness.
They are delicious!
I have an air fryer and I am most definitely going to try out this recipe. I love stuffed cheesy jalapeno poppers and made in an air fryer is a much healthier way to indulge.Thank you for sharing!
You are so welcome!
This definitely looks like such an amazing snack. I bet my family would really love them!
We love them so much! So spicy!
We love these, but I am wondering about wrapping them in bacon like we do for the grill...how would I do it so nothing burns or melts?
Hi Donna, I haven't tried this personally but I think you could cut the raw bacon slice in half and then wrap the jalapeno. Then I would cook at 370 degrees for 10-12 minutes. I'd play around with that first 🙂 I think it can work!
I'm such a wimp when it comes to spicy things but these look delish!
ha, I hear ya! My husband loves the spice, I am more of the wimp in our house!
These look so tasty! I must try this recipe. I love Jalapeno poppers.
me too! I love them too!
An air fryer is on the top of my kitchen wish list! These look so seriously scrumptious.
So yummy for sure!
Interest is piqued, not peaked . . .
Thanks for pointing out my error, I fixed it!
I love these! What would be the best way to make them ahead of time? Should I freeze them after cooking? or freeze them before cooking? or just refrigerate them? I would appreciate any tips for this.
I think that I would make them and just put them into the fridge, The top coating might be a bit soft, so you could always just roll the tops in crumbs right before you air fry 🙂
Made these today. They came out great, but I felt like the peppers needed more time to soften in my Cuisinart air fryer/toaster oven. May just be differences in the model. After another 7ish minutes baking on the bottom rack at 350 they were perfect. Added some cheddar to the cream cheese and might also add mushrooms next time. Yum!
Sounds delish! I have found that when I use the AF oven instead of the one with the basket, I end up having to add some time as well! I like the idea of cheddar and mushrooms. Thank you SO much for coming back and letting me know how they turned out!
These look great. I am wondering, the 951 calories, is that for all 10 or is that for 1?
Hello! I edited it, so it made more sense. It was doing the entire batch for calories :). It makes 20 half jalepenos and they are roughly 58 calories each. It may depend on the exact brands that you use, but gives you a better sense! Sometimes it calculates it funny! These are so good!
This was so easy and so good. I need to get to the store and buy more chiles!
So glad you enjoyed it! We love how easy it is too!
