Gin and Coke is a super easy cocktail that is ridiculously easy to make and tastes delicious! The fizz of the Coke pairs well with the gentle bite of the Gin.

What makes Gin and Coke so good?
- Gin and Coke is actually a twist on Rum and Coke. We love the gentle taste of gin paired with the coke, it is not overpowering and just does the job perfectly! Add in a slice of lime to elevate it even more!
- Gin and Coke is ridiculously easy and quick to make! You might also like to make a vodka and coke instead.
Tips and Tricks for the PERFECT Gin and Coke
- Measure! While you can eyeball the pours for your Gin and Coke, measuring the quantities ensures the perfect ratio, which will deliver the best taste!
- Lime! Add a slice of lime. The acidity of the lime helps to cut through the sweetness of the Coke! Don’t have fresh lime on hand? Add in about 1 tablespoon of lime juice!
- What type of gin is best? For this cocktail, I recommend a good all-purpose gin such as The Botanist, Bombay Sapphire, or Tanqueray. I would stay away from floral gins (such as Roku) and botanical gins (such as Haymans) as they wouldn’t pair as well with coca-cola.
- You can use ANY cola you like. I’m using classic coca-cola in this recipe but you could use whatever you have on hand– diet coke, vanilla coke, coke zero or any brand of cola.. Just make sure it’s fresh!
- FUN FACT: A Gin and Coke is also known as a Cubata.
