Vegan Panna Cotta is so decadent and creamy with just 6 ingredients and no gelatin! This amazing chocolate dessert comes together in just a few minutes to impress at your next party.
VEGAN PANNA COTTA RECIPE
Sometimes, you just need a little chocolate. You'll love this Vegan Panna Cotta that's perfectly creamy and chocolatey, too. You only need 6 ingredients and a couple hours to chill to whip together this decadent dessert!
You can make it in advance, and the leftovers last so long you'll never waste it — if you have leftovers at all. If you've never had panna cotta, imagine a firm pudding that's so luscious you'll fall in love with every bowl.
INGREDIENTS IN VEGAN PANNA COTTA
Coconut cream: I use canned coconut cream for this vegan panna cotta recipe. It adds so much creaminess and flavor, too.
Coconut sugar: I love the sweet flavor of coconut sugar! You can use another sweetener if you prefer, but this is what I recommend.
Cocoa powder: Always aim for 100% cocoa powder. It's the richest and delivers the best chocolatey flavor.
Agar agar: No need for gelatin here! This seaweed-based thickener is what turns this panna cotta from liquid to solid.
Dark chocolate: I love the richness of dark chocolate! You can use a baking bar or chocolate chips in a pinch.
Salt: Everything needs just a little salt.

HOW TO MAKE VEGAN PANNA COTTA
- First, whisk together the coconut cream, coconut sugar, cocoa powder, and agar agar together in a small saucepan. Heat over low until it simmers.
- Then, add the chopped dark chocolate and cook another few minutes until it's all smooth and thick.
- Now, pour the vegan panna cotta into jars or containers. Let it cool before chilling them in the fridge.
- Finally, garnish and serve! I love to use fresh berries, but vegan whipped cream is great too.
