Tips and Tricks for Making Homemade Dragon Sauce
- Use fresh garlic and ginger to get the best flavor in your sauce. Dried, powdered versions of these aromatics just aren't the same.
- Be careful not to burn the garlic and ginger. They only need to be cooked for a minute or two, until you can smell them.
- Dragon sauce is spicy! If you want to make it milder, reduce the amount of chili flakes that you add. On the flip side, you can add a pinch more if you really enjoy the heat.
- Store dragon sauce in a jar in the fridge for up to 1 week.
