I often find myself starving after a day spent hiking or exploring in Hocking Hills. Luckily, I’ve found many places to eat gluten free in Hocking Hills, which means that I can enjoy a nice meal after a day outdoors. Before I list my top 8 favorite places to eat, I have a few tips for you to remember:
- Visiting a restaurant with gluten free items on it’s menu is great, but remember it’s still up to you to ask questions and make sure that you’re comfortable with the preparation and procedures they are using to keep your meal gluten free. Ask as many questions as you need to, and don’t agree to eat anything that you aren’t 100% comfortable eating.
- If you’re camping or hiking for most of the day, stop at the Walmart in Logan, OH to stock up on gluten free shelf stable supplies and fresh fruit to keep you going all day.
